The PS2 ModboCheat Flex Kit has been designed to make installing Modbo modchips much faster and easier.
These kits allow you to reduce the manual wire count to only 4 / 5 wires (depending on model) for a full chip install.
At the moment, these kits are only suitable for the FAT models.
You will receive 2 x Flex PCB's of which you will choose which are suitable to your model.
1 Flex (BIOSConnect) is used to connect to the BIOS Chip.
* There are two types of this flex - Gap BIOS Chip / Non-Gap BIOS Chip.
1 Flex (MechaConnect) is used to connect to the Mechacon.
* There are two types of this flex - Mechcon on Top Side or Mechcon on Back Side.
These kits are suitable from models:
GH-010 to GH-022.
You can also use on the following models, but only the BIOSConnect Flex.
GH-023 to GH-029.

Installation Instructions
BIOSConnect Flex
The BIOSConnect Flex (GAP & NON-GAP) both solder the same way.
1. Align the Flex correctly and drag solder to the chip legs making sure to use plenty of flux and no solder bridges are present.
2. Place the Modbo Modchip below the flex and solder the pads of the BIOSConnect Flex to the Modbo Modchip.
MechaConnect Flex - Type 1
1. Remove the Resistor shown marked in the RED box.
2. Align the Right Most solder pad on the Flex with the Right Most pin on the MechaCon chip shown in PURPLE and solder making sure there are no solder bridges.
3. Solder a small piece of wire from the PAD on the MechaConnect Flex (Type 1) to ANY of the points shown in YELLOW above.
4. Solder the other end of the MechaConnect Flex (Type 1) to the pads on the Modbo Modchip.
4. Finish up by soldering the rest of the points (CX, SX, Y and RESET) using thin wire.
MechaConnect Flex - Type 2
1. Align the MechaConnect Flex (Type 2) to the pads and solder, making sure there are no bridges.
2. Solder the other end of the MechaConnect Flex (Type 2) to the pads on the Modbo Modchip.
3. Finish up by soldering the rest of the points (CX, SX, Y, A and RESET) using thin wire.
