Notice Before Purchasing: The Ripper 4+ Chip is a popular PlayStation 2 chip, it is a clone of Matrix infinity chip. It is even compatible with the PS2 Media Player V1.50. Naturally all import and others, and original are in direct boot.
The chip can also be disabled.
This is a update of Ripper IV chip:
* Direct Boot of PS2 CDs and DVDs. DVD Movies NO FREEZING.
* Boot from browser or main menu.
* GameShark, GameShark2 and Action Replay 2 with codes work for you cheaters.
* One chip supports NTSC V1-V12 and PAL V3-V12.
* Chip can be disabled for online gaming. Modes: PS2 Mode, PSX Mode, DVD Movie Mode and Disable Mode.
* With wide compatibility, these chips make installation much easier and less time consuming.
Please be aware that soldering skills are required to install this chip as 19 wires have to be connected, I take no responsibility for any ps2 damaged during installation. Please check your PlayStation model version below before you purchase so as to ensure you use the correct diagrams for your chip.

Usage Instructions:
PSX1,PSX2,DVD VIDEO - insert disk and play (note: simple rest if false)
FORCE PS1 game/DVD video : 2sec reset from STBY
DEV1 mode : 4 sec reset from STBY and second short reset until 10 sec RESET from DEV1 mode = back to DEV1MODE
EJECT after boot from mode = back to mode (example eject from PSX1 = back to PSX1)
Turn off chip : keep reset for 4 sec. (about) from STBY (you can load only original, video audio CD).

Booting Directions (from Standby Mode):
PS2 games
Method 1:
* Press EJECT button to switch on the machine.
* Insert PS2 game in tray.
* Tap RESET button once, the machine would reboot and then load your game.
Method 2:
* Press EJECT button to switch on the machine.
* Insert PS2 game in tray, the press EJECT button to close tray.
* The disc will then take 2-5 seconds to be recognized and then boot.
To boot another game when already playing a game.
* Press EJECT button.
* The current game would then pause and the tray would come out.
* Change to another PS2 game disc and tap RESET button once.
* The machine would reboot and then load your game.
PSX games
* Press EJECT button to switch on the machine.
* Insert PSX game in tray, then press and hold RESET button to switch off machine.
* Now hold the RESET button to start up your machine. Only release the RESET button once the Blue LED light of the Eject button lights up.
DVD movies
* Press EJECT button to switch on the machine.
* Insert DVD movie in tray, then press and hold RESET button to switch off machine.
* Now hold the RESET button to start up your machine. Only release the RESET button after like 4-5 seconds.
Disable Mode
* Hold the RESET button for like 4-5 seconds to boot up your machine.
